2-part paper cutting of a clump of trees. Each cut paper piece is mounted on a 8" x 10" by 3/4" wood panel, and these small panels are then attached to an 14" x 18" x 3/4" wood panel.
The base panel is painted in black acrylic and sealed, the small panels are edged in black and painted in winter colors with acrylic. The papercuttings are attached on top of the painting, then a finish is applied on top of that to protect the surface. The piece has picture wire on the back for easy hanging.
All my cut paper work is my own original design and each piece is cut by hand with a craft knife so no two pieces will be exactly alike.
