Original design hand-cut paper sculptures. I cut each piece out individually by hand with an art knife and shape it using pleating, folding, scoring, and curling techniques to give depth . All of the mosaic segment detailing is cut freehand with no sketches, so each is free-flowing and unique.
The sculpture cuttings are cut from linen paper or light watercolor paper and are backed with a floated watercolor painting mounted on white board.
These pieces are triple-matted with neutral-colored matting in white, gray, and black, the mats are spaced with foam board to give depth to the piece, and frames are a deep shadowbox-style black metal 11"x 14" external dimensions.
