Original design, limited edition, hand-cut papercutting artwork. I drew the designs and I cut each piece out individually by hand with an art knife.
My 'Beans' pieces are mostly human based – little people experiencing the trials and joys of life. Each design is cut a maximum of three times, and I usually change up and add detail and complexity with each re-cut.
These pieces are cut into linen, watercolor, or card stock papers, backed with watercolor paintings then attached to a white illustration board backer and matted in complementary colors. They are matted to 11x14" external dimensions and come in a sealed plastic sleeve for protection.
